Pollner is the holder of a Doctorate from
Columbia University, President of Cinema Verite
Int'l Inc. and a former professor at Columbia.
She has been invited worldwide by a number of
governments and companies, to teach and provide
her consulting services. This has taken her to
many places, including the former Soviet Union,
Poland, Eastern Europe and the Middle East. (In
1997 Dr. Pollner was sent by the U.S. government
as a consultant to Russian Educational
Television, in Siberia where she produced
educational programming.) Dr. Pollner has run
empowerment seminars at CUNY, NYU, UNO-Nebraska,
Texas Tech, Salve Regina, SUNY Purchase, Trinity
College and the University of the Virgin
Islands, amongst others.
As a New Yorker who witnessed the tragedy of the
World Trade Center and a Trauma Expert, Dr.
Pollner has developed a program to help students
basic understanding of Terrorism
Over the years, Dr. Pollner, has presented the
